What is Work From Home Care?

Work From Home Care is a lifestyle insurance protection solution, underwritten by Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited, addressing the needs of those working from home due to COVID-19. The policy provides Doctor Anywhere Subscription as well as personal accident, daily hospital cash (due to COVID-19) and identity theft benefits.

Who can buy Work From Home Care?

Customers (including foreigners) between the age of 18 and 65 years old inclusive who are Singapore Residents.

Who is considered a Singapore Resident?

Singapore Resident means a Singapore citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident, or foreigner holding a valid Work Permit or other permit as required under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (Cap. 91A) or Immigration Act (Cap. 133) issued by the authorities in Singapore.

Can I purchase Work From Home Care for my family members?

Yes, you can purchase the Family Plan which provides cover for you, your partner and you/your partner’s child(ren), who is a Singapore Resident aged between 1 month and below 18 years old.

Who is considered a Partner?

Partner means your spouse, de-facto partner with whom you have been living permanently with, for at least 3 months or more, prior to the effective date of your policy.

Who is considered a Child/Children?

Child(ren) means your unmarried dependent child(ren) including step or legally adopted child(ren) who is/are at least 1 month old and below 18 years old.

What is Doctor Anywhere?

Doctor Anywhere is a platform which offers 24/7 video consultation with a General Practitioner (GP) for medical advice. The GP can diagnose and treat common illnesses, prescribe medications and issue medical certificates or referrals. With this platform, you can receive medical consultations from the safety of your home.

What is the Doctor Anywhere Subscription Benefit?

This benefit provides free video consultations with the GP from the Doctor Anywhere platform and provides free delivery of medication within 3 hours from the video consultation.

Does the Doctor Anywhere Subscription include the cost of medication?

No, medication cost is not included in this benefit and will be borne by you.

Is the number of video consultations unlimited?

One Doctor Anywhere video consultation is available per calendar month, per person on the policy. If you have a Family Plan, you may have up to 4 video consultations, per calendar month.

What is Worldwide Personal Accident Benefit?

This benefit provides coverage in the event of accidental death or accidental permanent disability. It also provides coverage for reimbursement of accidental medical expenses (including TCM and chiropractor treatment).

What is Identity Theft?

Identity Theft refers to the theft of your personal data or documents by a third party without your consent, to obtain goods, money or services.

What is considered personal data and documents?

Personal data refers to your personal information, including text, images, videos and files, stored in your electronic device(s) or online.

Documents refers to papers or other items containing references to your identity issued by a government authority, tertiary education institution, financial institution, professional trade association, public utility provider or service provider. For example, it could be your passport, driving license, credit/debit/bank cards, birth certificate, insurance documents etc.

What kind of Identity Theft benefits are provided under Work From Home Care?

In the unfortunate event of an Identity Theft incident, Chubb will provide assistance to mitigate the impact of the incident. This includes complimentary legal consultation with Chubb’s appointed legal panel as well as 24-hour access to IT/Tech support hotline. The policy also provides coverage for legal expenses, loss of income or reimbursement of additional expenses incurred in order for you to restore and/or rectify records of your identity (e.g. replacement fees of your passport, identity card or driver’s license).

What kind of legal consultation will I receive?

The policy provides 1 hour of legal advice (with Chubb’s appointed legal panel via a helpline) and guidance on immediate next steps following the Identity Theft Incident. This service is available during business hours (Mondays to Fridays, 9.30am to 5.30pm, excluding Public Holidays).

What is provided under the IT/Tech Support?

The IT/Tech Support is a 24/7 hotline service with our panel of providers. In the event of Identity Theft, our IT/Tech providers can provide guidance via phone or gain remote access to your electronic device(s) to assist with resolving or minimising the impact of the incident.

When will I receive my policy?

You will receive a copy of your policy via email, upon successful online application and payment of your premium.

How do I cancel my policy?

You can cancel the policy by contacting Chubb at or call +65 6299 0988 (Mondays to Fridays, 9.00am to 5.00pm, excluding Public Holidays).

Please note there is no cancellation of the policy in the first 3 months from the date of purchase. After the 3 months, you may cancel this policy at any time during the period of insurance.

No refund of any premium will be given.
