Choose your coverage period?

There is a requirement by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) for an additional 2 months cover to ensure that the maid is still covered under the insurance in the event she overstays in Singapore after her work permit expires.

Is your maid from the Philippines?
What is your maid's employment status?

Include performance bond?

If your maid is a Filipino, then The Philippines Embassy requires a performance bond. This allows the helper to get protection and assistance from her consular authorities. It also allows her to apply for a new passport upon expiry, purchase an exit permit certificate when she is on home leave to go back to Philippines, and to process any official documentation.

Waive indemnity rider?

In the event of a claim by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) under the Security Bond (up to $5,000), you will only need to pay a small sum (excess) while the insurance company pays the rest.
