Cheap parking spots in Singapore

Orchard Road

Far East Plaza

Far East Plaza offers the cheapest parking you’ll find in Orchard Road. Weekday parking costs practically a dollar an hour, which means it’s your best option if you happen to work there, or if you need to make a quick grocery run at nearby Isetan.

Saturday rates are the same as weekday rates, which gives you further savings. If you need to park there on Sundays or public holidays, it’s a breezy $3.53 per entry.

If you happen to be in the southern side of Singapore, head to Bugis+ for the cheapest parking. With rates starting from $1.28 for the first hour, it makes a good option if you just need to squeeze in some quick errands or shopping.

The weekend rate isn't too shabby either, at $3.21 for the first 2 hours. An added bonus is the location’s proximity to the downtown area with ample shopping and eating outlets.

Among the cheapest carpark in the CBD is Orchid Hotel, located right smack in the middle of Tanjong Pagar.

With a low rate of $3 per hour for after hours parking, Orchid Hotel is also a popular choice for those weekend and evening visits to the excellent watering holes and restaurants scattered around the area.

Marina Square

Marina Square is another location where you can find the cheapest parking in the CBD. You’ll get the most value if you keep your visits at 2 hours or below. On the weekends and public holidays, rates spike sharply after the 4-hour mark, so don’t dally too long when doing your IT or travel fair shopping nearby at Suntec City.

Central

Balestier Plaza

The cheapest parking you’ll find in the central area is Balestier Plaza. With a flat rate of $1.12 per hour, all day, every day, this car park makes it convenient if you need to stash your vehicle overnight at a location close to town.

Mustafa Centre

Daily

1st hour free, $1 for subsequent 1/2 hour

Mustafa Centre is probably the only car park left in Singapore that offers first hour free parking. And with subsequent hours of parking costing just $1 per 30 minutes, this is the ideal option for car owners looking to spend the weekend trawling Geylang and Little India for cheap and delicious food.

North

Northpoint Shopping Centre

Northpoint Shopping Centre is probably the most successful shopping mall in the north, serving the residents of Woodlands, Sembawang and even Yishun. It’s a good thing then that the mall has included a sprawling multi-storey carpark, and even better that it has the cheapest parking rates in the area.

East

Ikea (Tampines)

7am to 11pm: Free

Parking doesn’t get any cheaper than this. Ikea Tampines offers free parking every day, from 7am to 11pm. If you somehow were looking for another reason to fatten your waistline with meatballs while thinning your wallet with trendy Swedish furniture, here you go.

Katong Square

6am - 10am: $0.48 for first hour, $0.12 per 15 mins thereafter
