Your CCRIS Report - Available Online Now!


Bank Negara Malaysia earlier announced that it has introduced eCCRIS (electronic Central Credit Reference Information System), a secure online platform for the Malaysian public to access their CCRIS report. Users do not need to pay any fee for this service and is currently available to the public nationwide right now.

eCCRIS serves as an additional channel to access and retrieve their credit reports and submit data verification requests directly to participating financial institutions (PFIs) as well as Bank Negara Malaysia.


For those unfamiliar with CCRIS, it processes all credit-related information received from financial institutions and gathers the data into a credit report which can be accessed by both the financial institutions and the borrowers at their request.


The CCRIS report will display the financing and repayment history of a borrower over the past 12 months and does not offer an assessment of one’s credit standing. It needs to be pointed out that it serves as a factual report and not a blacklist.


To register on eCCRIS, follow these five easy steps:


     1. Perform a one-time registration at any Bank Negara Malaysia office or Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) branch


     2. For individuals, verify your identity using your MyKad and register a valid mobile phone number at the CCRIS kiosk. For businesses, a representative is
         required to present an authorisation letter and company registration certificates to register on behalf of the company.


     3. A 6-digit PIN will be sent to the registered mobile phone number.


     4. Log-in for the first time at using the MyKad number together with the 6-digit PIN.


     5. Once logged in, the user will be required to:
     (i) set preferred user ID and password
     (ii) select personal security image and phrase
     (iii) set three security questions and answers
