Top 5 Credit Cards for Moviegoers
Here are our top credit card picks for cinema enthusiasts:
1. Hong Leong Bank GSC Gold and Platinum

Right from the approval stage, the Hong Leong Bank GSC Gold and Platinum cards will send incredible freebies your way.
New Platinum cardholders will enjoy ten GSC adult tickets. New Gold cardholders on the other hand, will receive five GSC adult tickets instead. The tickets will come in the form of promo codes and only new cardholders who do not hold any existing HLB Principal credit cards (including Mach) are entitled to them.
No cinema experience is complete without snacks and these cards will keep your appetite in check! When you purchase via GSC online or the mobile app, you'll also be slurping down a cool 30% off any popcorn buckets, snacks, and drinks. Purchasing them over the counter will net you a 10% discount instead. This deal however, is not applicable on Wednesdays, as they're already your designated cheap movie tickets day.
And to top it all off, cardholders will automatically enjoy RM6 off all adult movie tickets for all days (excluding movie screenings on Wednesday), for all movies and all halls including Signature halls when purchasing via GSC's website or mobile app.
Do note that all these offers are valid for GSC cinemas only (with the exception of GSC Terminal 1, Seremban) - it is after all known as the Hong Leong Bank GSC Gold and Platinum Cards.
In terms of eligibility, this Platinum card is open to those with minimum annual income earnings of RM60,000.
But if you are earning less, you can still apply for the Gold Card with an annual income of RM24,000 and enjoy comparable movie treats.
